The geotechnical scope covers the following activities:

• Geotechnical data interpretation
• Stability assessment of existing breakwaters due to channel deepening
• Provide the safe configuration for existing BWs
• Assessment of the additional volume of reclamation fill placed to compensate for the settlement of the existing seabed under the weight of the reclamation fill, and the expected penetration of the coarse-grained particles of the reclamation fill into the native ground
